Day two - Paul's Second Chapter

City Haiku

Sometimes words, when strung together, have a beauty and poise which becomes musical in its form. The Haiku (or at least as close as I could get to this wonderful form) is perhaps the most sonorous of such poetry.

I have used five of these constructions as a starting point for today's compositional offering, creating a brief cycle of verse-songs which recall some of the great Japanese imagery in the context of a modern western city.  PJA
